Scarf Frame Size Guide

Every Arts & Artisan scarf frame is sized for a standard designer silk scarf, including Hermès carrés, bandanas and vintage scarves. Measure your scarf, then match it to the frame below.

Arts & Artisan scarf frame size guide: Scarf 90, 80, 70, 55 and 45 Hermès scarf frames

How to measure your scarf

  1. Lay the scarf flat on a clean surface and gently smooth out any creases.
  2. Measure one side from edge to edge, including the hemmed border.
  3. Find your measurement in the chart. If your scarf falls between two sizes, or isn't square, email us and we'll help you choose.

Tips for choosing

  • Vintage scarves are often slightly smaller. Older or hand-rolled scarves can shrink a few centimetres. If your "90" scarf measures under 88.5cm (34.8"), choose the Scarf 80 frame.
  • Scarf 80 comes in several inner sizes (79, 81, 84 and 86cm). Select the option closest to your scarf's measurement.
  • Scarf 55 fits both 55cm and 60cm squares. Choose the matching option on the product page.
  • All frames display the scarf fully open. The magnetic system holds the scarf flat without pins, tape or glue, and you can swap scarves at any time.
