Framed Hermès Scarves: Real Customer Displays

A silk scarf is a small work of art, and framing it lets you enjoy the design every day instead of keeping it folded in a drawer. The photos on this page are real framed scarves from Arts & Artisan customers, who framed their own Hermès carrés, bandanas and vintage silk scarves at home with our magnetic DIY scarf frames.

Good to know: we make the frames, not framed scarves. Every scarf shown belongs to the customer who framed it. Use the filters to compare scarf sizes (45, 55, 70, 80 and 90) and frame colors, then follow the link under any photo to get the same frame.

Arts & Artisan is an independent brand. Our frames are designed to fit Hermès and other designer silk scarves. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Hermès. Hermès is a registered trademark of its owner.

From the drawer to the wall

Most silk scarves spend years folded in a drawer. Framed, the same scarf becomes a piece of wall art you see every day - and because our frames are magnetic, you can take it out and wear it whenever you like.

Framing a Hermès scarf: common questions

How do you frame a Hermès scarf without damaging it?
Our scarf frames hold the silk in place with a magnetic system, so there is no glue, stitching, pins or tape. The scarf is never cut or permanently mounted and can be taken out of the frame at any time in the same condition it went in.
What size frame do I need for a Hermès scarf?
Measure your scarf edge to edge. A classic Hermès carré 90 (about 88.5–90 cm) fits the Scarf 90 frame; slightly smaller or vintage 90 cm scarves usually fit the Scarf 80 frame; a carré 70 fits the Scarf 70 frame; bandanas and 55 cm squares fit the Scarf 55 frame; and gavroche 45 scarves fit the Scarf 45 frame. Our size guide lists the exact ranges for each frame.
Can I take the scarf out and wear it again?
Yes. Because the frame is magnetic, you can open it, remove the scarf to wear it, and put it back, or swap in a different scarf whenever you like.
Does the frame protect the scarf from fading?
The frames use a UV-protective acrylic front panel that helps reduce fading and keeps dust off the silk. For the best long-term results, we still recommend hanging the frame away from strong direct sunlight.
Which frame color should I choose?
Gold frames suit warm, classic designs and traditional interiors; black frames give graphic or modern scarves a crisp gallery look; silver and white frames work well with cool tones and light, minimal rooms. The gallery filters let you compare real examples of each.
Is it cheaper to frame a Hermès scarf yourself?
Professional custom framing for a silk scarf typically costs several hundred dollars or more. A DIY scarf frame kit costs less and takes most customers under an hour to assemble at home, with only a screwdriver typically required.
